A military airstrike on Sin Kan Village, located in Bhamo Township, Kachin State, resulted in the immediate death of two civilians and serious injuries to three others, according to local residents.
On February 14, at approximately 4:06 PM, the military carried out an air raid using a jet fighter, dropping three 200-pound bombs on Sin Kan Village.
The attack claimed the lives of a 40-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both killed instantly. Three other civilians were severely injured and are reportedly in critical condition. The injured include a 50-year-old man, a 12-year-old girl, and a 22-year-old man, all of whom are currently receiving medical treatment.
In addition to the casualties, two houses in the village were destroyed during the airstrike.
