In the Tiddim Township of Chin State, the military has reportedly captured and executed two siblings, aged 15 and 17, and disposed of their bodies, according to local residents and regional news sources. On August 14, troops from the military junta entered the village of Haimahl (New Village) and apprehended Lal Nun Puii (17) and Lal Ruat Mawia (15). Following their arrest, the two siblings were killed and their bodies buried between Haimahl (New Village) and the nearby area. Their remains were later recovered and buried according to Christian traditions.

Similarly, on the morning of August 16, around 6 AM, a military unit consisting of about 50 soldiers stormed a UG (United Government) camp located in the Kalay Township of Sagaing Region. During the raid, the UG forces managed to escape, but two innocent villagers working in the fields nearby were shot dead by the military, as reported by PDF Kalay.

A member of the PDF Kalay stated, “The military set fire to two houses in Lay Aye Group, killing two innocent villagers who had come to farm from Thasai village. One victim was U Phoni, and the other was his daughter, Thein Win Aung. Thasai village is located east of Lay Aye Group.” Subsequently, local defense forces approached Lay Aye Group to counterattack the military junta, but the military retreated into the Dakha military camp via the Lae Pan Khone village, as reported by Kalay PDF.
