On September 27, in Ponnar village, Htilin Township, Magway Region, the military carried out a violent incursion, resulting in the destruction of four homes by fire and the detention of at least 30 civilians, according to local sources. The armed forces attacked Ponnar village at approximately 5:45 AM, using both heavy and small arms.
During the assault, four residential houses were set ablaze, and the military reportedly conducted house-to-house searches, detaining over 30 villagers. The troops withdrew from the area around 2:30 PM, returning to Htilin Township after their operation.
