The military council launched an airstrike on Lashio, northern Shan State, early this morning, causing extensive damage, according to the MNDAA. The bombing occurred between 2:15 a.m. and 2:20 a.m. on September 25, targeting the area around Ward 12 and near the Lashio Technological High School, which is associated with Lashio Technological University.
Four bombs were dropped near the high school, severely damaging the school itself, a nearby monastery, and several public buildings. Despite the destruction, no casualties were reported.
Following the airstrike, the MNDAA conducted an investigation at the bombing site to assess the damage.
