It has been reported by the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) that the military conducted airstrikes in the Thapyay quarter of Naungcho, Shan State, resulting in the death of one civilian and injuries to another. The airstrike involved a total of 11 bombs, with two 300-pound bombs dropped at around 7:45 p.m. on October 27, followed by an additional nine bombs at approximately 8:15 p.m.
During the bombing, a 60-year-old man named U Thein Tun was killed, and a 50-year-old woman, Daw Pu, sustained injuries. Additionally, three homes were reported destroyed in the attack.
In a separate incident on the same day, the military targeted areas near the Namkham Township with two bombs dropped by jet fighters, along with six more bombs aimed at Man San Nat Sin Mountain and nearby farmland, totaling eight bombs. While there were no reported injuries, local rice fields were damaged.
Furthermore, early on October 28, at around 2:30 a.m., junta forces again targeted the vicinity of Yebhu in Mone Sii Township, dropping at least eight bombs. Some residential structures were reported damaged, according to TNLA sources.
