November 9, 2024, Yangon

A protest was held in front of the Chinese Mission to the United Nations in New York City, USA, to denounce the Chinese government’s interference in the Myanmar Spring Revolution. Myanmar activists and supporters gathered to voice their opposition to China’s support for the military group led by Min Aung Hlaing, which has been responsible for violent attacks on unarmed civilians in Myanmar.

Protesters chanted slogans, including “No one has the right to obstruct our path to self-determination,” “The people will decide the future of our country,” “No intermediaries are allowed in the people’s revolution,” and “Everything should align with the will of the people.” The demonstration strongly condemned China’s support of Myanmar’s internal affairs through various means and its backing of the military’s oppressive actions against civilians.
