Myanmar nationals in Perth, Australia, staged a protest in front of the Chinese Consulate on December 13 to denounce China’s involvement in Myanmar’s internal affairs. The demonstration called for an end to China’s support for the Myanmar military regime.
Protesters chanted slogans condemning China’s actions and displayed banners and posters urging China to respect Myanmar’s sovereignty and human rights. The participants also demanded an immediate halt to China’s backing of the military dictatorship in Myanmar.
