Myanmar nationals in the United States staged a protest today in front of the Chinese UN Mission in New York City, condemning China’s interference in Myanmar’s internal affairs.
The demonstration was organized by Myanmar activists and the NYCBC group, calling on the Chinese government to end its blatant support for the military junta and to stop meddling in Myanmar’s crisis.
Protesters also urged China not to endorse the junta’s sham elections, to cease providing arms to the Myanmar military, and to show support for the hardships faced by Myanmar’s people.
