In Yinmarbin, the military junta reportedly executed two civilians using ropes and set fire to homes in Myaung. In Thapyay Aye village, Yinmarbin Township, local residents discovered two bodies that had been executed with ropes and set ablaze as the junta forces withdrew. These corpses are believed to be those of individuals abducted by the military from Chingpun village, according to local sources. On March 3, a military force of around 100 troops from the junta was reported to have moved north from Moe Kaung village in Kani Township. They entered temporary shelters along the route and fired upon civilians fleeing the area. Local residents reported that a 14-year-old child was injured in the crossfire during the junta’s attack. Additionally, in Napu Kon village, Myoang Township, residents reported that military forces entered today, March 4, and set fire to civilian homes. Sources indicate that the military junta arrived from the Sinmaikhon river port in Myingyan Township, looting cows, pigs, and household goods from the villagers during their raid.
