A man in his 60s, identified as U Myint, who was physically disabled, was shot in the head by the military junta in the Mi Laung Kyun village area of the Yae Lae Kyun region, Yae Skyo Township, early reports confirm. In addition to this fatal incident, civilian homes in Hlay Khut village and Mi Phu Yar village were set on fire by the junta forces. According to reports from the “Thein Nge Pyauk Kyar” resistance group, the military unit that crossed from Pauk Taw Gyi began indiscriminately firing heavy artillery, including 60mm mortars, in and around Mi Phu Yar village around 4 p.m.
