In Myaungmhu Township, Sagaing Region, the People’s Strike Leading Committee and local defense forces joined forces to celebrate the birthday of the people’s leader, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. They held up banners reading “We Won’t Just Stand By, We Will Respond,” while distributing flowers as part of their demonstration.
Additionally, in Kale Township, a public movement aimed at overthrowing the military dictatorship was also held today, June 19. Various groups, including the main strike committee, student strike committee, and the people’s education strike committee, came together to participate in the demonstration.
