A military airstrike on a rural healthcare clinic in Tint Thar Village and a school in Kokkoh Village, Kale Township, Sagaing Region, has resulted in the deaths of nine civilians, including displaced children, according to local sources.
The attack occurred on January 31 at approximately 5:25 PM and 5:27 PM when military aircraft bombed the healthcare center in Tint Thar Village and the school in Kokkoh Village. Reports indicate that 30 displaced civilians sustained injuries, some of whom are in critical condition.
Medical treatment is currently being provided to those injured in the attack, while healthcare workers continue to monitor their conditions.
