The Myanmar military carried out two aerial bombings on Aung San University, operated by the National Unity Government (NUG) in Mying Township, Magway Region, resulting in the death of a CDM student and injuries to four civilians, according to PDF sources.
The first airstrike took place around 1:00 a.m. on January 30, when two jet fighters bombed the university’s western section, injuring three civilians.
Later that day, at approximately 5:30 p.m., two jet fighters from the Magway Air Base and one from the Tada-U Air Base launched a second attack on the university. This assault resulted in the death of one CDM student and left another woman injured.
