Two civilians were killed, and three others, including a 5-year-old child, were injured due to military shelling on Kyi Kone village in Chaung-U Township, Sagaing Region. The attack was reportedly launched from the military’s Myapulay Gate Camp, according to an official from Chaung U Revolution News.
The incident occurred on the evening of February 18, 2025, around 6 p.m., when the military indiscriminately fired heavy artillery into areas populated by civilians. The shelling caused casualties and injuries among the residents, according to local reports.
